Let’s Talk Glass
Glass is deceptively complex. Not all glass is created equal, and choosing the wrong type can lead to safety risks. We only use the highest quality materials in our installations, and we help our clients make informed decisions. Here’s a quick look at the most common glass types we work with:
01
Floating (Annealed) Glass
Basic and brittle. Fine for some uses, but never for balustrades or fencing.
02
Tempered (Toughened) Glass
Five times stronger than standard glass, it is safer if broken. It is often used, but it is still not always the best.
03
Laminated Glass – Our Preferred Choice
Two layers of tempered glass are bonded with a corrosion-resistant EVA sheet. This structure maintains integrity even if one pane breaks, meaning there are no dangerous holes and no compromises on safety. Most suppliers use PVB for lamination; we use EVA, a higher standard.
What Do You Need?
Don’t worry — we’ll walk you through every detail. Safety is non-negotiable, and our knowledge of glass means you get the best product for your space and peace of mind.
